Is it better to hire a Dingo or get a Dingo Depot contractor to come and do the job?

It depends on how much and what sort of work you need to do. In some cases, if you just have a small job, say a few stump holes, then it might be more cost efficient to have one of our people come and do the job for you. On the other hand, if you are filling those stump holes with concrete later in the day, then having the Dingo with the cement mixer attachment available for the whole day could save you a lot of back ache and money. We recommend that you call and talk to us about the job and we will work out the most cost effective way for you to get it done!

Is a Dingo better than a Bobcat?

Bobcats are definitely bigger machines, but Dingos, whilst still being very powerful, are more maneuverable and versatile. Our Dingos can get through an opening only 840mm wide which is great for many suburban back yards. Also, the range of attachments turns the Dingo from a wheel barrow one minute into a trencher the next, then a post hole digger, a cement mixer, a stump grinder, a wood splitter and the list goes on! It is also less damaging to surfaces, especially turf, tiles and pavements.

I've never operated one of these machines before - will I be alright?

Put it this way - you're safety is our number one priority - so we spend as long as it takes to make sure that you are comfortable operating the Dingo before we leave you to get on with the job. Customers who have used our Dingos range from tradespeople working a site cut all day to grandpas doing clean ups around the place to young women wood splitting for firewood.
